Much of the wood used is repurposed from fallen and dead trees, giving the box its unique characteristics. Boxes are sanded and finished with three coats of lacquer for long-lasting durability.

This box is made from beautiful, reclaimed, walnut, with white oak lid, that comes from a region in Kentucky. Walnut is a gorgeous, classic wood and most desired as artistic pieces that are timeless and full of character. The white oak lid is clean and the Poplar splines add to the beauty of this piece.

Many boxes have decorative knobs re-shaped from segmented bowl scraps from my father’s segmented bowls created over the past 20 years.
