Ambrosia 'wormy' Maple Rounds
These are chain cut large Maple rounds. Salvaged from a stack of cuts, these are aged and nature dried. Some have splits, but all are absolutely gorgeous with the ‘wormy’ effect due to beetles and fungus. Each is unique, thick and heavy. Besides the ‘wormy’ effect, the coloration of the wood and grain is a great contrast. These will make great coffee or side tables. They also make for great seating or simply a utilitarian statement piece. The average diameter is 30 - 31” and range of thickness is 2 3/4 to 4”.
